Naheed studied and trained in the USA. Her residency and board certification are in family medicine completed at Emory University, Atlanta in 2016. She became a fellow of RACGP in 2018 and holds active medical licenses in both the USA and Australia.
Naheed is passionate about empowering patients to prevent disease, feel better, and look better.
Naheed worked extensively in cancer prevention at the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), a US public health agency, prior to beginning medical school. Naheed also has research interests in skin cancer screening, cancer prevention, infectious diseases, and preventive medicine and has been published in peer-reviewed journals, listed below under her maiden name: Lakhani.
Naheed is married with two children and enjoys spending time with family, walking, and travelling.
