Dr Anthony Yap

Dr Anthony Yap graduated with honours from UNSW and trained at Prince of Wales Hospital. He has been working as a general practitioner in Sydney since 2002. Dr Yap started his subspecialisation in skin cancer during his GP training in Dubbo and has continued to expand his dermatology work. In 2010, he founded True Skin Cosmetic and Laser Clinic.

Dr Yap continues to work as a general practitioner with a focus on skin, particularly in minor surgical procedures and scar management. He is also an advanced injecting cosmetic physician, leading a team of nurses and aesthetic practitioners. He holds multiple certifications in skin cancer medicine and aesthetics and regularly attends advanced training events and conferences, where he also has presented.

In 2020, Dr Yap led his team in opening and managing the first Commonwealth Respiratory Clinic in NSW, located in Bondi Junction. This initiative was a response to the first wave of the COVID pandemic in Sydney's East.

Dr Yap's goal is for Key Health Medical Centre, located in the Sydney CBD, to provide access to quality primary care and to educate the next generation of specialist general practitioners.
