Dr Emmanuel Carpio

Dr Carpio is passionate about providing a patient-centred and practical approach to general medicine to his patients and their families.

He completed a Bachelor of Medical Science at University of Technology in Sydney, a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Griffith University and then obtained his Masters of Surgery from University of Sydney.  He has accomplished over a decade of hospital training as a general surgical and emergency registrar. Following this he completed his FRACGP and has also completed a Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine.  While he enjoys the full spectrum of general practice, his special interests and services include:

• Paediatrics and Family Health

• Skin cancer checks including excisions and other minor procedures

• Contraceptive implants i.e. Implanon

• Iron Infusions

Outside of work Dr Carpio is a dedicated father to three young boys, a frequent flyer at Bunnings, as well as a sports and music enthusiast.
